A photo taken by a parishioner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help shows an illuminating human figure that appears to be the Virgin Mary. This miraculous story was reported by WGN-TV Chicago. See Video Below
One north suburban Catholic Church is talking about a very thought-provoking picture, shot with nothing more than an iPhone.
One woman snapped a photo last Friday in the chapel of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glenview and says she got so much more.
Maureen Kent has been attending Eucharistic adoration at the church for more than 2 years. Kneeling last Friday, she wanted a picture of the Eucharist or host in the monstrance, the ornate gold stand it’s placed in. The picture showed a bright light, an image larger than a human and appearing to hover next to the host on the alter. Catholics believe the host is the True Body of Christ.
No photoshopping, she says, no doctoring the digital image. Just what she calls a great surprise when she looked at her screen.
Her friends in the chapel also believe it is the Virgin Mary. Authentication is not, right now, a consideration by Maureen Kent or even the church. They are relishing what they call a miraculous moment, privileged to have seen and believed, they say.
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish is located at 1755 Grove St. in Glenview, IL

Your article has inspired me to share my family’s miraculous story/imagery that we’ve kept mostly private these last few years. I think it’s time to share our story. world to see. Objectively, the apparition we experienced, from the innumerable I’ve seen on the internet is more detailed and recognizable; truly miraculous. It has beautifully changed the hearts and lives of many but has not yet received the global exposure it deserves. Please take a moment to read the story and view the picture and video surrounding this mysterious image. It has been requisitioned and examined by a high ranking postulator for canonization in Rome, and in his assessment, the image is a supernatural message from our Lord. Thank you for time and consideration and I look forward to hearing from you. Please see the story and video link below.
Blessings,

THE STORY: My sister’s son passed away in June 2007. A few months later I began compiling photos taken of him to create a Christmas picture book for my sister. The photos were taken approximately one year prior to his death, during his very last visit with his mother living in Crete.
In one particular photo taken from quite a distance, I used my computer zoom feature to get a close-up of his face. The image revealed next to him was simply astonishing.
Subsequently, I showed numerous people without revealing any background information or circumstances regarding his death. I simply asked: “Tell me what you see?” The answers have been nearly unanimous with comments such as: “Is that…God”, or “That’s Jesus!”.
This miraculous vision and story continue to inspire believers and non-believers that have had the opportunity to see it. With your help, I would like to show the world and hopefully inspire many others in faith and love of Jesus Christ.
The picture was taken in existing natural daylight and has not been modified in any way. You’ll notice no natural shadows which often causes visual distortions and unnatural imagery. The zoom feature is used for close up representation only.
Padre Florio Tessari, member of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchins, responsible for the cause of the saints of the Order of Capuchins, and postulator for the canonization of Padre Pio, personally invited my sister to meet with him in Rome after reviewing the miraculous photo.
