How to Consecrate the New Year to Our Lady

“In this new year, blessed be above all creatures, Servant of the Lord, who obeyed most fully the divine call”

O Our Lady, Mother of men and peoples, who know all their sufferings and their hopes, who maternally feel all the struggles between good and evil, between light and darkness that shake the contemporary world, I welcome our cry that, moved by the Holy Spirit, we raise directly to your heart.

Embrace, with the love of Mother and Servant of the Lord, this our human world that we entrust to you and consecrate you, full of restlessness for the earthly and eternal lot of men and peoples.

In a special way, we surrender and consecrate to you those men and nations who have particular need of this dedication and consecration.

To your protection we welcome you, Holy Mother of God! Do not despise the supplications that arise from us that we are in the ordeal.

Meeting with you today, Mother of Christ, before your Immaculate Heart, we wish, together with the whole Church, to join us in the consecration which, through our love, your Son made of Himself to the Father: “I I consecrate Myself for them, “were his words,” that they might be consecrated in the truth “(John 17:19).

We want to unite with our Redeemer in this consecration for the world and for men, which, in His divine heart, has the power to achieve forgiveness and achieve reparation.

In this holy year, blessed be above all creatures, Servant of the Lord, who obeyed most fully the divine call.

Praise be ye, who are wholly united to the redemptive consecration of your Son!

Mother of the Church, enlighten the people of God in the paths of faith, hope and charity! It enlightens, in a special way, the peoples from whom you expect our consecration and surrender. Help us to live in the truth of the consecration of Christ for the whole human family of the contemporary world.

Trusting you, O Mother, the world, all men and peoples, we also entrust to you the very consecration of the world, placing it in your maternal heart.

O Immaculate Heart, help us to overcome the threat of evil that is so easily rooted in the hearts of today’s men and that, in its immeasurable effects, it weighs on the present life and seems to close the ways of the future!

From hunger and war, deliver us!
From nuclear war, from incalculable self-destruction and from every kind of war, free us!
From sins against the life of man, from the first moments, deliver us!
From the hatred and degradation of the dignity of the children of God, deliver us!
From all kinds of injustice in social life, national and international, free us!

From the ease of trampling on the commandments of God, deliver us!
From the attempt to overshadow the very truth of God in human hearts, deliver us!
From the loss of the consciousness of good and evil, deliver us!
Of sins against the Holy Spirit, deliver us, deliver us!

Welcome, O Mother of Christ, this clamor filled with the suffering of all men! Loaded of suffering of entire societies!
Help us with the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome all sin: the sin of man and the “sin of the world”; in short, sin in all its manifestations.

May the infinite saving power of Redemption be revealed once more in the history of the world: the power of merciful love! May Jesus stop evil! May he transform consciences! May it be manifested for all, in your Immaculate Heart, the light of hope!

Amen!
